For
to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme
of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.
Sun Tzu
As
soon as you concern yourself with the "good" and "bad"
of your fellows, you create an opening in your heart for
maliciousness to enter. Testing, competing with, and criticizing
others weakens and defeats you.
Morihei Ueshiba
Tonight I feel to speak
about this two treates both by two great masters, art of war by sun
Tzu and art of peace by morihei Ueshiba.
When we first look on
art of war we think how but that rude, but when we start to meditate
the first stance as to win battle is to subdue the enemy without
fighting.
And when we look to the
art of peace show us that the bushido ultimate way is to get
enlightenment , in that case what we don't know that modern army
still use art of war and also modern martial art use the both art of
war and art of peace.
In martial arts first
thing we know it's how to avoid fight, but when we look to modern
world we think but this people still using art of war if you don't
know that I inform you that us army and European army during the golf
war have use two strategy of art of war to win but should we use the
first one of do not fight !
In our world we look
for peace but we still knocking the bell of war maybe we should also
learn from this great master that the goal of all of this isn't to
conquered others but to conquered ourself.
In my personal life I
use the both for my business and daily life, but I also use this
principal from buddhism watch the cause and the effects always look
to the final result before moving forward.
When we look to the
world today we have plenty wisdom to avoid what we know that's
happening around the world because we have all this precious
teaching from past warriors and also great wises and buddhas, Lao Tzu
say : When virtue is lost, benevolence appears, when benevolence is lost right conduct appears, when right conduct is lost, expedience appears, expediency is the mere shadow of right and truth ; it is the beginning of disorder.
At
the moment we should work hard on virtue and compassion to change our
world today.
