first in Buddha dharma
there's 84000 teaching and we have to know we can not all use the
teaching, some are made for us some not.
Make that simple east
or west we like to accumulate things but when that come to spiritual
we should maybe wait a bit, this reflection come when today I was
looking to my both MP3 player and my tablet and also all the books I
have about Buddha dharma some books I clearly need for now and all
the rest I need for later.
This post will be both
self help and buddhism, first come first, OK if you got to the
doctor, he will give the medicine to you after if you are afraid to
be sick again maybe you buy different medicine in case of another
flue come to you.
But one for you health
that not so good it's better to see the doctor twice and for
spirituality it's like jumping in Ferrari without have the driving
licence, a good advice come to me the last summer from Dorzin
Rinpoche when you want study Buddha Dharma you should study part by
part, that mean when you want know about Karma study karma do not
study sutras if want study karma.
That look easy but not
so easy, because you have to focus just on that, that mean learning
distraction still distraction and without focus there's no result .
But don't worry that
working also for life I keep always the two eyes open, when you want
to achieve something and you need to learn what you need to achieve
the things you like to achieve whatever it's, if you want to become
entrepreneur you study how to be entrepreneur, if you like to be
teacher you study to be teacher, but you will not study how to be
entrepreneur to become teacher and so on.
But both spiritual than
life it's always good to learn new things, because without this
knowledge of the path our life is going no where, like Bruce Lee say
“poor learning is misery” and also Musashi say “ Better to be
expert in one things than beginner in two” to understand and make
this two saying clear, when we learn something we should focus on
this learning and when we master it them we can learn a new things.
So at the end both in
life and spirituality you don't need to have a pharmacy full of stuff
you just need to have in the right time in the right moment.
Hi! I'm new in Buddhism. I find your site very helpful and insightful. I didn't know that there are 84000 teaching. You're right. Keep the focus to one topic one at a time. :)
